Two months ago I began a spiritual walkabout that started in the sacred lands of the South Dakota Black Hills. I completed my journey at Devil’s Tower in the Wyoming Black Hills. After a long hot summer driving through wildfires and smoke, I arrived at Devil’s Tower to be greeted by a delightful breeze that lingered late into the night, and then heralded in a much needed long rain.
A Hopi Elder told me that when it rains after your prayers it means the Creator has heard you.
May it be so.
