I was saddened to see the recent loss of Nanci Griffith, the Texan singer-songwriter. The first great love of my life was a Texas woman who looked exactly like Nanci Griffith with green eyes and blond hair. If you’ve never heard Nanci’s music, here’s two of her best known songs.
